welcome yo

hey there, i'm eli. welcome to my blog...are you suppose to welcome people to your blog? oh well, i just did. the main reason i made a blog was to be cool like kimmy. it's funny cause you probably think im kidding...haha. anywho, well i made this blog to share my wise knowlegde with the world. i enjoy writing things about my life out but im not really a pen and paper kind of gal although i wish i was. i enjoy reading blogs and what have people say so i thought i'd join that cool club band wagon. i dont really know what im gonna post in the near future so dont expect greatness out of this. i am also a terrible speller, just a warning. for this first post im just gonna share what i did today and a few other things...so here goes nothing.

so today we didnt have school. random no school tuesday for the win. i slept until 9:30, that was a beautiful thing. i dont really remember the last time i slept in. for breakfast, my dad and i went to ihop. everyone and their mom was at ihop today. heres my dad and his nice plaid shirt. after that we went to vote. well i watched my dad vote. i'm just 2 months short, lame. although i did get a sticker.





later this afternoon, i called up zach and stovy and we met up at starbucks for some bonding and homework time. it was swell. sometimes you just need to get together and talk about life and obnixous stuff with your best buds. i am learning to like coffee. i told myself i was going to, although today i just got hot chocolate. and they spelled my name wrong. i dont ever expect people to spell eli right because i spell it like 'e-lie' but today she spelled it 'elly'. thats a new one.



and now, i am writing/making this blog instead of writing an essay for english. i am a great procrastinator. my current favorite band is the citizens and now, now. although now, now has been my favorite for awhile now. even though the citizens only have 4 songs (at least on spotify), i just listen to them over and over. also i have been listening to passion pit a lot, they are coming here in decemember...booya. and my current favorite song is my leather, my fur, my nails by stepdad. just go listen to it, its weird but great. also lately, the lord has been doing some awesome things in my life. let me just share one exciting thing and then ill wrap this up. 

 

so i am a bad test taker and havent done super well on my acts. my mom told me that i would have to go back to act to the session that started last week. now, act prep is on tues, weds and sundays. this causes multiple problems. one, i usually work tuesdays and sundays and weds is church. i was not a happy camper when my mom shared me this news, especially missing church. so i had been praying that if god wants me at church he would find a way for me to get there, at least once a month or something. i prayed like a crazy woman about this. so two nights ago, my mom said she saw that this college was hosting an act class on saturday and that it was free. she then said if i went to this class, she wouldnt expect me to go to the act prep classes everyday=NO MISSING CHURCH. i was so pumped and thankful for the work that the lord did. he delievered and he wanted/wants me at church every week and is making that happen. when you put it all in the lords hand, he delievers. he delievers like no other.
